Customers of the new Tesla Model 3 in the Netherlands will be waiting for their electric cars a bit longer. According to Tesla's order page for the Model 3, the estimated delivery times for new orders of the Model 3 Long Range All Wheel Drive (AWD) in the Netherlands have been extended to November-December 2023.

Registration data from Experian shows that among the new electric car companies in the United States, Rivian is currently the strongest. Rivian's sales of the R1T and R1S far exceed those of its peers such as Lucid, VinFast, and Fisker.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently admitted that the rivalry between the Tesla Model S and the Porsche Taycan in the Nurburgring is fun. Despite the prospect of the Tesla Model S Plaid with Track Pack potentially losing its crown to the upcoming Porsche Taycan GT, Musk looks like he's loving the competition. 

Tesla has removed the base Model Y All-Wheel Drive (AWD) from its order page in the United States. With this change, the Model Y now only has two variants in the US: the Model Y Long Range Dual Motor AWD and the Model Y Performance. 

A Tesla fan created renders of the upcoming Model Y Project Juniper update. Project Juniper is expected to improve the Model Y in a way that's similar to how Project Highland improved the Model 3. 

Footage from a longtime Tesla watcher has revealed that Gigafactory Shanghai is producing Model 3 Highland vehicles for exports. The vehicles are reportedly being gathered at the Shanghai Nangang Terminal. 

Videos from automotive reviewers indicate that Tesla has rolled out an improved infotainment display for the updated Model 3. A comparison between the old and new Model 3 display shows that the infotainment system equipped in the new electric sedan is smoother and more responsive. 

A Tesla Cybertruck was recently spotted in Palo Alto, California. The build quality of the all-electric truck hints that customer deliveries are probably just around the corner.  

With the updated Model 3 now released, it makes sense for Tesla to no longer cover its Highland vehicles in the US. This seems to be a positive development for the Model 3 in the United States, as it could suggest that Tesla is pushing to release the updated vehicle soon.
