Hansshow Model 3 and Model Y Console Screen Rotating Swivel Kit

I installed this in my 2022 Model Y in about 20 min.

The mount is well designed and very sturdy. I had concerns that it would be loose and move without me touching it, but it is tight enough that it’s not going anywhere unless you want it to.

I have it turned slightly to the driver and while the change is minor it provides a different look and slightly easier visibility.

One thing to note is that this will drop your screen down at least and inch or two. So if you are concerned about that I’d look for other mounts that may not have the same side effect.

This mount also comes with a well designed plastic cover for the bracket. I’ve seen videos online of other similar items that had a Velcro cloth boot-like cover. I was not a fan and was surprised when this one had a better solution.

The tools that come with it are cheap, but if you have a standard set of tools at home just use those.

I would buy again 100%.

This is by far the best upgrade I have made to my Tesla Y. It provides functionality that I use every day. The mount moves the screen out away from the dashboard a few inches which makes the screen more visible even without tilting it toward me. I find the tilt particularly useful when I am using navigation as it places the screen at a much more natural angle. Also, it was very easy to install.

I was hesitant to purchase and install the Console Screen Rotating Swivel Kit for a couple of reasons. First, I wasn't sure I saw any value in it, and second, I thought the installation would be difficult. I was wrong on both counts. This is the best accessory I have purchased for my 2023 Model Y. The installation was super easy. It took me about 45 minutes as I was being very careful, and the difference it makes is well worth it. It pushes the screen out about 1.5" - 2" which for me makes it much easier to see (the steering wheel doesn't block anything anymore) when not swiveled and when swiveled toward me makes using the screen much easier. All required tools are included, but I used my own and installation is straight forward. The only recommendation I would make is before you reinstall the temp sensor, gently run the screws into the new cover and then remove them. Reinstalling the sensor is a little awkward and this way the screw holes are pre-threaded and it makes reinstalling the sensor quick and easy. Buy this swivel, you will love it!
