Tesla, the US carmaker, once again stole the show. Even though some of the vehicles on display at the CIIE, like the Model S Plaid and the Model X Plaid, weren't yet accessible to buyers in mainland China. The appearance of Optimus, the company's first humanoid robot, was a significant element of the Tesla stall's charm at the CIIE.
South China Morning Post (SCMP) asserted that the expectations were already high for fewer attendees at this year's CIIE convention. It was because of the nation's Covid-19 complications. However, there were reports of visitors stopping by Tesla's exhibit to check out the brand's latest cars and Optimus.

The company has already notified us that the orders for the Model S and Model X plaids can only be placed in China. The car is not currently available for deliveries. However, after accounting for import duties, it is anticipated that the flagship vehicles will start at around 1 million yuan, equal to US$139,179.
According to a Tesla representative at the company's CIIE stand, the chaotic atmosphere exceeded probabilities. The source stated that Tesla China "hoped to promote its latest goods and vision on new-energy vehicles. Still, many visitors were keen to possess the new models."
The CEO of Shanghai Yacheng Culture said that Tesla's successful CIIE debut demonstrates how closely tied local consumers and the electric vehicle manufacturer is.

Tesla's accomplishment in CIIE demonstrates the continued ties between Chinese customers and US welfare in Washington and Beijing. Also, because of the enormous scale of the market, geopolitical issues will not deter US and European businesses from conducting business in China.
Chris Xia, an event participant, observed that the people who attended Tesla's booth did so because they were aware of the brand's reputation in the EV industry. "Novices are at this location to experience some of the greatest electric vehicles available and appreciate the humanoid robot Optimus."
