Excellent

I use this kit daily, it really is a game changer for how often you use the frunk! Prior to this Hansshow, I had bought a kit from Tlyard that was defective, and it took me over 2 months, a Paypal dispute and tons of denial on their end to even get them to accept a return for their defective kit. Not only was their kit defective, but it also did not have features that the Hansshow kit has, such as speed control and the ability to update.

As for how Hansshow acts in need of a return, I am not sure since my item performs flawlessly, but I can tell you that I will never shop at Tlyard again after that experience.

Great addition to my 2018 Model 3. I tried to purchase the system from Tesla but was told it was not available for my model year. This is a great alternative. I am grateful that I live not too far away from Tes Studios for professional installation. So far no issues!

Great product, instructions and "live chat" support are challenged

Once I got it working the product is great! I really like having it on my 2023 Model 3.
The instructions are poor, however there are some decent youtube videos that can help you with the install. Note, that the lift-arms have dramatically changed from earlier models (for the better!).
Challenges:
- Once installed I had to manually close the Frunk and let the car sit for 5 min to reset (after a forced reset on the auto-frunk computer). This was not reported in any instructions I could find and would have saved me several hours of trouble-shooting if I'd have known.
- Hansshow's "live" chat support is terrible. This is the 2nd product I've purchased from Hansshow and attempted to use their chat support with "NO RESPONSE" either time. I wound up downloading Wechat onto my phone so I could text them and got a response 24-hrs later from their technician asking me to re-open my Frunk compartment & basket and send them a video, but had already figured out this issue.
- Even with the suction closing mechanism moved as far up as possible, I'm still experiencing a little more gap than I'd like (this is not significant and I'm okay with the results)
- When you open the Frunk it is a little louder than I'd like (banging noise) though very quite on closing.

What I like:
- I love being able to open my Frunk from inside the car on the touchscreen or from my phone
- I love being able to close the Frunk using the safety release button inside the Frunk
- I love not having to manually close the Frunk by pushing on it (previously concerned I was going to bend the Frunk hood when closing)
- I love how easy it is to use now that it's installed
