Tesla Cybertruck Spotted With An Impressive 8 Tires On Its Bed

A Tesla Cybertruck that's been spotted in the wild has prompted conversations about the vehicle's hauling capabilities. As observed by Tesla enthusiasts, the Cybertruck in question was hauling eight tires on its vault. What's interesting was that there still seemed to be some space for more cargo. 

What happened: Tesla owner @BLKMDL3 recently shared images that were initially posted by Ben Murray of the Tesla Model S / X Plaid Owners group on Facebook. The images showed a Cybertruck, parked alongside other Teslas, at a destination charger. 

According to the Tesla owner, the electric pickup truck seems like it is capable of holding up to 10 tires in the bed alone. This was particularly impressive since the tires at the back of the Cybertruck seemed to be 21" Arachnid wheels for the Model S. Those are not small tires at all.

Cybertruck can haul 8+ tires in the bed alone! Really can’t wait to use it to tow my Model 3 to the track.

I think it could even fit 5 wide, looking at the left one. So that would be a total of 10, very impressive. Those are 21” Arachnid wheels off Model S

Why it's important: The Cybertruck will not only be used as a consumer vehicle. It must also be capable enough that it could carry a substantial amount of cargo on its bed. Because of this, there is a lot of attention being placed on the Cybertruck's more utilitarian aspects, such as its bed.

The Cybertruck's bed has an automatic tonneau cover. This makes the bed extremely secure.

Cybertruck specs: The Cybertruck is known for its spacious bed and powerful towing capabilities. The truck has a bed length of 6.5 feet and a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds, at least according to CEO Elon Musk during the Cybertruck's unveiling way back in late 2019.

Tesla has not yet released official specifications for the Cybertruck's bed capacity. Regardless of the vehicle's final specs, however, one thing seems sure. The Cybertruck can haul a lot of stuff.
