Tesla Extends A Special Offer To German Model 3 and Model Y Buyers

Tesla will currently only cover the difference for electric vehicles purchased from the German government. Next year, it's anticipated that the EVs of the German government will decrease.

Several orders are anticipated to be filled in 2023 because of the high demand for the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. However, some buyers may receive their vehicles in 2023, when the German government's subsidies for electric vehicles would be repealed.

Because of the great demand for deliveries this year, if you meet the requirements for this offset and your Model 3 or Model Y deliveries do not occur in 2022, this offset will be made available. In 2022*, we will make up the Green Bonus discrepancy. Order a Model 3 or Model Y by December 31, 2022, if you want to benefit from this compensation, Tesla said to its customers in the mail.

In 2023 the German government incentives for electric cars will be reduced.
Since Tesla can't fullfil all orders this year they will cover the difference if you order till December 31st but receive car in 2023.

Tesla also declared that in 2023, the environmental wealth will be reduced. Even though you won't get your Model 3 until 2023 because of the high demand this year. We want to make sure you take advantage of the significant environmental bonus financing with your purchase. If you meet the criteria for compensation, we will also cover the difference in the environmental bonus amount between 2022 and 2023. You don't need to do anything else right now.
