Common Troubleshooting Guide

Q1:Black Screen (Screen Installed but Not Lighting Up)

Reason

  1. Other factors may cause abnormal operation of the microprocessor
  2. If the main unit plug is disconnected and not reconnected within 5 minutes
  3. Ensure that the main unit or screen plug is securely inserted

Solution

  1. Please restart the vehicle key
  2. Connect the wiring harness, lock the vehicle for 2 hours, ensuring that the mobile phone and remote key are within a distance of over 20 meters from the car. Afterward, check if the screen can light up.
  3. please reconnect the main unit plug

Q2:No display upon startup

Reason

  • Backend data error

Solution

  • Reconnect the main unit plug

Q3:Original vehicle information not synced or displayed

Reason

  • Power line or protocol line malfunction

Solution

  • Reconnect the wires and check the cable interfaces

Q4:How to switch between day and night mode

  • Push the right roller to the right to enter the settings interface, and set it to manual or automatic mode.

Q5:How to switch UI interface

  • Press the right roller to the right to enter the UI selection interface and set the desired UI.

Q6:How to adjust the brightness?

  • Push the right roller to the right to enter the settings interface
    Set to the desired brightness

Q7:How to switch the car model color?

  • Push the right roller to the right to enter the settings interface
    Set the desired color

Q8:Why can't I enter the front view?

  • Reason: Check if the front view camera is set to closed
  • Solotion: Open the front view camera on the settings page

Q9:Bluetooth password？

Bluetooth password: 0000

Q10:The screen crashes when entering the settings?

Reason: The front and rear trunk doors and vehicle doors were not closed.

Solution: Close all doors and start setup again

I had this screen in my 2019 Tesla m3 . I think it’s a great after market addition for the Tesla. My only fault with it is that the numbers in the lower left and right of the screen could be a little larger.

I have purchased many items from Hansshow over the years. I customized my 2019 Tesla M3 and now i have done the same thing to my new 2024 Tesla M3 Highland. I have put a yoke on it along with the screen swivel and the F9 steering wheel screen. Never be afraid to purchase anything from Hansshow and if something is wrong with it they will make it right.
